Meet Chris Roberts

Chris Roberts has enjoyed a 35-year career in broadcasting and has been involved with all aspects of the industry.

Chris began his experience in the field in March 1965 in television as a camera operator. Following extensive training in electronics, he became studio engineering supervisor at radio stations WABQ/WXEN, Cleveland. It was at that station that Chris became involved in news, eventually being named news director. Moves to Akron, then to Canton, Ohio, allowed him to gain experience in management as assistant program director and program director at WCUE and WINW respectively.

In September 1973 Chris accepted a position at WOWO Radio in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he served as an announcer before being named program director/sales promotion director in October 1983. Chris served as WOWO's Good Morning Team host from 1986 to 1995.

In addition to servicing numerous voice recording clients, Chris presently owns and operates radio stations WERT/ WKSD in Van Wert, Ohio.
