Meet Chris Roberts: Chris has enjoyed a 60-year broadcasting career being involved with all aspects of the industry. He began his experience
in the field in March 1965 in television as a camera operator. Following extensive training in electronics, Chris became the studio engineering supervisor at
radio stations WABQ/WXEN, Cleveland, Ohio. It was here that Chris became involved in news, eventually being named news director. Moves to Akron, Ohio
then to Canton, allowed Chris to gain experience in management as assistant program director and program director at WCUE & WINW, respectively. In September
1973, he accepted a position at WOWO Radio in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he served as an announcer before being named program & sales promotion director in
October 1983. Chris served as WOWO's "Good Morning Team" host from 1986 to 1995. In addition to servicing numerous voice recording clients, Chris presently owns
and operates radio stations WERT/WKSD in Van Wert, Ohio.
