class-2.jpg (11528 bytes)Age-appropriate activities are designed for each grade level. This highly interactive curriculum stresses the relevance of education to the workplace and helps prepare students for lifelong learning.

class-3.jpg (9965 bytes)The Elementary School Program has several different themes. Currently in Van Wert County, programs are offered in the 2nd, 4th and 6th grades. All programs illustrate how people assume roles as individuals, workers and consumers in an expanding environment. The 2nd graders learn about "Our Community", 4th graders learn about "Our Region" and 6th graders begin global economics with the introduction of "Our World".

The Middle Grades Program for 8th graders is "Enterprise in Action". It deals with the economics of business, while also presenting the economics of households and the world marketplace.

The High School Program is an Economics Course, taught within an existing high school business curriculum. Students participate in business simulation exercises, culminating in and end of the year competition, complete with awards for the most successful simulated company.

Students who are enrolled in the high school classes can compete for college scholarships through an essay competition.
