Programs |
Age-appropriate activities are designed for each
grade level. This highly interactive curriculum stresses the
relevance of education to the workplace and helps prepare
students for lifelong learning.

The Elementary School Program has several different themes. Currently in Van Wert
County, programs are offered in the 2nd, 4th and 6th grades. All
programs illustrate how people assume roles as individuals,
workers and consumers in an expanding environment. The 2nd
graders learn about "Our Community", 4th graders learn
about "Our Region" and 6th graders begin global
economics with the introduction of "Our World".

The Middle Grades Program for 8th graders is "Enterprise in Action". It deals with the economics of business, while also presenting the economics of households and the world marketplace.

The High School Program is an Economics Course, taught within an existing high school business curriculum. Students participate in business simulation exercises, culminating in and end of the year competition, complete with awards for the most successful simulated company.
Students who are enrolled in the high school classes can compete for college scholarships through an essay competition.
