Paul G. Hoverman
Coordinator for Performing Arts
Paul has been with The Van Wert County Foundation since March 2002 and is responsible for coordinating existing musical activities which are supported by the Saltzgaber Fund as well as to create new cultural opportunities to benefit the people of Van Wert.
Paul is a graduate of Bowling Green State University with a degree in Music Education. Prior to joining the Foundation staff, Paul taught music in the public schools for 6 years and was the owner of Hoverman Music Center in Van Wert for 14 years. He is currently the Senior Choir Director for the First United Methodist Church, president of the Van Wert Community Concert Association and a member of the Lima Symphony Orchestra, playing trumpet.
The Hoverman household is one filled with music - his wife Annette is a Piano Performance major from Bowling Green State University and their three children are also aspiring musicians.
